Carl

A little girl cat named Carl is staying with us. I heard a rumour it's while my mommies are in BC and Carl's mommy is in Greece. I don't know why I have to suffer while everyone is on holiday, when do I get a holiday, huh? I could use a break. And now this. Carl just hides under the couch and when I come in the room hisses at me. I ate some of Carl's food and lay on her blanket. It was ok, could use a little salt but the blanket was pretty soft. Mommy #2 keeps calling me a bully, but hey, I was here first. She put me in the mud room, then took this pic of Carl lying by MY food and water. Who's the bully now? Not on my watch Carl, not on my watch.

Go away Mommy I'm practicing my technique

I've recently taken up meditation. I find since I really enjoy sleeping, why not try more things to relax me. I need it! My life is pretty stressful. No, really, it is! I have those damn birds always taunting me, that doormat to slide up and down the hallway on, shoelaces to bat around. Life is tough. Unfortunately, Mommie #2 thinks this pose is funny and she often takes a picture of it or calls in Mommie #1 to see me. Meh, I brush it off and go back to my zen state. Personally, I think they could use a little meditation in their lives. They are always flitting around from room to room doing things. Or talking non stop (especially Mommie #2) or watching that picture box or holding papers and looking at them intently. They really could learn a thing or two from watching me.

About last night

I don't remember much about last night. I hope I didn't do anything stupid or embarrassing. I asked my mommies and they said I didn't,  that I was mostly really funny. I hope they are not just saying that.

Sing it again Mommy #2

This morning when Mommy number 2 came out of her room, she sang a song to me. Singing of how I was a 'Handsome devil'. I really like the part when she sings about getting her hands on my mammary glands and then she tickles me. It feels nice. I asked who made this song? And she showed me this record. Needless to say, they're my new favourite band.

Tips on keeping cool

Summer is coming, I can feel it when the window seat gets too hot and I have to move. My fur can be a bit much to take sometimes and don't tell me to have a cool shower, I just hate that! I've found a way to get a second or two of relief. When Mommy number 2 is in the kitchen cooking things - she opens the cold box and if I'm quick, I can sneak in. Ahhhh now that's cool.
